Project Assistant Profile
The project assistant is responsible for (a part of) the (administrative) management of one or more projects and in this way support the project manager or (part) project leader. The activities are usually internally focused on the project.
Tasks
- Sets up an administrative and management organization for a project, in correspondence with the standards;
- Performs a project administration in correspondence with standards.
- Observes deviations from the budget and project progress and reports them to the project leader/manager.
- Organizes various project sessions/project meetings, prepares them.
- Takes care of the reports on agreements.
- Develops actions on the basis of them, and initiates these actions.
- Maintains the financial administration for project(s).
- Generates standard overviews in relation to the project, e.g. concerning progress, budget depletion.

- Is able to maintain contacts efficiently in external and internal networks.
- Is independent and takes initiative.
- Works in an organized and precise manner.
- Has a supportive attitude.
- Is able to deal well with the pressures at work.
